MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of Emeron Foundation is to enable Persons with Disabilities, orphans and indigent persons in the rural and poor communities we serve, to have access to improved and quality healthcare and live a better life with dignity.
VISION: Our vision for the poor communities we serve is that low-cost healthcare services are available to them, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Persons with Disabilities are reasonably achieved, and they live a better life with dignity.
VALUES: Emeron Foundation values integrity, honesty, excellence, dependability, accountability, transparency and dedication to duty. Actions must be just and ethical.
Our Focus on Persons with Disabilities: We focus so much on Persons with Disabilities because they are more likely to die earlier, have poorer health conditions and are more limited in their Activities of Daily Living than the public. Also they need to participate in the civil, political, social and cultural life of the society with equal opportunities as the public.
The overarching principle of the United Nations 2030 Agenda is "Leave No One Behind". The 2030 Agenda is aimed at eradicating poverty in all its forms, reducing inequality, and to realize economic empowerment through Sustainable Development. Persons with Disabilities are at the center of this poverty eradication because more than 80% of Persons with Disabilities live in poverty. They always face hinderances in their ability to participate on equal terms as members of the society. All over the world, their fundamental human rights as equal members of the society are always violated. Even children with disabilities, as well, do not receive their rights as children. Thus Emeron Foundation focuses so much on Persons with Disabilities to ensure that "No One Is Left Behind" in the provision of quality and improved healthcare services in our poor communities.
DONATE TO EMERON FOUNDATION TO HELP THE NEEDY! Without Charity and Philanthropy, the indigent, the aged and Persons with Disabilities in the poor communities of Nigeria are helpless, hopeless, and vulnerable. But with charity and philanthropy they can have access to improved and quality healthcare and live with dignity. With your donations we shall be able to provide low-cost/charity healthcare services to the needy. With your donations we shall be able to provide an environment where people live with dignity. With your collaboration we shall be able to improve the quality of life in our poor communities. We need to bring resources together to change and reduce the cost of healthcare; and bring quality healthcare to our rural communities. Please, donate and help Emeron Foundation to help the aged, the orphans, the indigent, and Persons with Disabilities.
Origin of Emeron Foundation: Dr. Emmanuel Nkwogu, as a physician had been providing low-cost/affordable healthcare services to the rural/poor communities of Ogbaku and its environs in Imo State of Nigeria in the 1980s-90s. In line with that, he provided healthcare services free-of-charge to indigent patients. He always accepted patients without considering their ability to pay. This was a written-down policy. When he came to the United States of America and saw the opportunities that abound, he knew that he could help his poor communities in Nigeria more. So, he incorporated the Emeron Foundation as a Not-for-profit healthcare organization, both in the USA and Nigeria, to help him continue his humanitarian services. EMERON is an acronym for Emmanuel Eronini Obisike Nkwogu. He incorporated Emeron Foundation in the United States of America as Emeron Foundation USA Inc.
What We Do: Emeron Foundation engages in activities that enhance and promote the health of the people in the rural communities where we work. These activities include :

Where we work: We serve the rural and poor communities in Nigeria, particularly, Imo State. But we acquire most of what we use to help the communities fron United States of America. Nigeria has one of the highest rates of preventable diseases, including maternal and child deaths, in the world. Our Impact: We have made such impact that we frequently receive phone calls from all over Imo State, asking for when we would be able to donate mobility aids to them.
