Dr. Emmanuel Nkwogu founded the Emeron Foundation to enable him to continue with his humanitarian services. He believes that the poor and the indigent, like other persons should be able to access health care. And that taking service to the people, is the surest way to correct the imbalance in health care delivery.
He has worked as a medical doctor in a number of African countries and has first hand knowledge of their healthcare needs.In his medical practice, money has always been very secondary. He always accepted patients without considering their ability to pay.This was a written-down policy. He provided low-cost/affordable health care services to the poor; and many of the times totally free medical and hospital care to the indigent patients in the community.
