What We Do: Emeron Foundation engages in activities that enhance and promote the health of the people in the rural communities where we work. These activities include :
1. Health education through workshops, seminars, classes, and other community outreach events.
2. Acquiring new and used medical equipment and supplies that are made available to health care facilities that serve the poor.
3. Acquiring Mobility aids that are donated to Persons with Disabilities.
4. Provision of basic needs of life, such as food and articles of clothing, including shoes to the indigent, widows and orphans.
5. Emeron Foundation will be providing low-cost/affordable clinical medical services to the communities we serve.
Our Focus on Persons with Disabilities: We focus so much on Persons with Disabilities because they are more likely to die earlier, have poorer health conditions and are more limited in their Activities of Daily Living than the public.

With your collaboration we shall be able to improve the quality of life in our poor communities. We need to bring resources together to change and reduce the cost of healthcare; and bring quality healthcare to our rural communities. Please, donate and help Emeron Foundation to help the aged, the orphans, the indigent, and Persons with Disabilities. Among the Goals of the Sustainable Development which is part of the United Nations Agenda 2030, is that Persons with Disabilities need to achieve universal health coverage and health care services including for health costs related to disability.
History of Emeron Foundation: Dr. Emmanuel Nkwogu, as a physician had been providing low-cost healthcare services to the poor communities of Ogbaku and its environs in Imo State of Nigeria in the 1980s-90s. In line with that, he provided services free-of-charge to indigent patients. He always accepted patients without considering their ability to pay. This was a written-down policy. When he came to the United States of America and saw the opportunities that abound, he knew that he could help his poor communities in Nigeria more. So, he incorporated the Emeron Foundation as a Not-for-profit healthcare organization, both in the USA and Nigeria, to help him continue his humanitarian services. EMERON is an acronym for Emmanuel Eronini Obisike Nkwogu. He incorporated Emeron Foundation in the United States of America as Emeron Foundation USA Inc.
OUR IMPACT: We have made such impact that we frequently receive phone calls from people all over Imo State of Nigeria, asking for when we could donate mobility aids to them.

Persons with Disabilities have to participate in the civil, political, economic, social and cultural life of the society with equal oppotunities as every other member of the society.
The health care system has to be responsive to the real healthcare needs of the people. Primary Health Care is still the best answer to disease because it provides the basic strategies for handling disease conditions. It has significantly reduced child and maternal morbidity and mortality which are two of the most preventable causes of premature death. Generally, Primary Health Care is low-cost and affordable, allowing access to improved and quality health care to majority of the population. As is known, the United Nations Development Goals are usually focused on the poor, sick and disabled.
